About us
Hatco Supermarket was founded by twin chefs Mohamed Haja and Ahamed Haja with a vision to offer customers a diverse range of ingredients from every corner of the world. Born in India, the brothers earned their degrees in Hotel Management and Catering Science in their home country. Their culinary careers spanned five-star hotels, cruise liners, and resorts across the globe, including notable experiences in the Maldives, US cruise liners, Bahrain, and the award-winning Loch Fyne Oysters restaurant in Scotland. Their extensive travels and exposure to various cuisines have shaped their commitment to the motto: "Better Ingredients, Better Price."
The brothers had the privilege of preparing meals for celebrity chefs Raymond Blanc and James Martin, and they were offered opportunities to work for renowned establishments such as Petit Blanc and Wagamama. However, they chose to pursue their passion for business instead.
